Other Fan Choice Item Also Produced? Options

I'd just like to notice something, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but when the Fan choice pick was annouced, this weapon, the PPsh, Luger, and BAR were choices, and even though they didn't win, they were ALL Prototyped. The only ones were the STG-44 (Which I'd love to see.) and two other ones. But it's just cool to see that even though those weren't picked, they were prototyped, which is cool, because I couldn't choose between the PPsh and the XM8. Just thought I'd share with the community what I noticed.

Also, were the ones I mentioned prototyped because they recieved the second/third most votes or something? Or why were they prototyped? -Alex

P.S: I wasn't sure where to post this, so I posted here, but if this needs to go somewhere else, please do move it.

It's no coincidence; when Will authorized that list for the Fan Choice 2009 voting, his first reaction was, "I might just do them all!" All those items were ideas that had been floating around for awhile and were both fan favorites and things Will had always planned to do. So regardless of how many votes some of the items received, they were ALWAYS going to be near the front of the list when it came for Will to design new items that fans would love adding to their collections.

As for the ones that haven't been prototyped or designed yet . . . . there's always the future!
