This would be an awesome weapon. The Germans get their MG42, the Americans need their big MG.

I would have to agree. The m1911 to the broomhandle pistol, the thompson to the mp40, the Mg42 to the Browning. It all makes sense!

I also think it would be a good idea to have the bottom of it mountable, similar to the brickarms lewis gun mount. I would certaintly buy many of these if they would come out!

Me too, It would be so much more versatile that way!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1919_Browning_machine_gun There is an A6 model i believe, but it has a small stock that i think, isn't that good looking. The A4 has a nice sleek design as it sits atop its tripod.

I'd also prefer for it to be used exclusively as a mounted/crew served weapon, and with spade grips too. A design that can be lugged around by a single man is highly unrealistic, and not everyone is the Governator. ;)

I remember that scene in T3! That was awesome! When the SWAT team was outside of Sarah Connor's Tomb, and the coffin was filled with AKs, MP5s, various shotguns, and RPGs! That was awesome. Anyways, I would really like this to be made, as it would be awesome for basically every MOC from the 1920s to present. It could be used as an M2 as well, if it ad Spade Grips. Maybe Will could use his spade grip idea w/ the top and bottom snap-on parts, and a snap-on Pistol Grip configuration. A tripod would be great, too, but I recall form the Tripod thread that they would have to be miuti-part, because there's some molding issue with the three legs.

Well I really like the browning and I'm giving it my 142% support! I think the spade grip could be made with 4 monopods. You could have a grippable(Yay for invented words! =D) area near the start of the gun, then attach one monopod on each side, and then attach one monopod o each one of those monopods if you guys see what I mean. Do you guys like my idea?

I fully support this! Originally I preferred the M2 Browning HMG, but then I saw Saving Private Ryan, and saw some M1919 gameplay in Call of Duty: World at War, and now I fully support it! :)

I agree, but I'd hate the lack of a tri-pod to stop the production/prototype of this gun.

In that case, it could be released with out tripod first and then when a tripod is made add it to the gun (like the Mk. 48 and bipod, if I remember right.)

Does it ever seem that the intelligent parts of posts are the parts ignored?

Nope, the Combat LMG and Bipod were released in the same wave of accessories.

I'd love to see this gun in BrickArms form. Sure, some people can make one out of TLC parts, but a BrickArms version would be amazing! I love this gun, and I seriously hope to see it made ino a BrickArm soon.

I think it should at least come with a Bipod, and monopod for those of us who want to want to add it to vehicles. I think this would make an awesome BA weapon.

Great ideas! For a tripod, could you not have a monopod clipped on normally, and a bi-pod clipped on behind it at an angle.

Those of you saying you don't need a tripod/bipod to fired the .30 cal. here you have your explanation:

Yes, you can fire it from the hip but there's a problem (or more) :

1.- Ammo chain, you can't expect another guy to keep up eith you wherever you point/turn at to fire, its easy when you're prone but standing it gets kinda hard. Besides if you want to do it by yourself the recoil would make you shoot planes.

2.- There's enough with it being in position in the ground, Jeeps, trucks, planes, B-17s, sandbags...

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS!!!

I'm rooting for it! This should be focused on the CoD WaW Design with an ammo chain slot like the MG42s, I'd also should see it rather capable of holding a bi-pod instead of a tri-pod like in WaW.
