I know I didn't cut, glue, or sand anything here, but I did put a small amount of stress on a TLG pin to make it fit around the SMLE barrel, so please bear with it being in the "weapon-mods" part of the forums ;] A BA SMLE, with the Drum from an MGL and a TLG pin (with a small piece of wire to hold the pin onto the rifle; no glue was used). The only difference between v1 and v2 is a TLG screwdriver being added to the BA MGL drum, to make the shotgun more like it's in-game counterpart (the screwdriver fits nicely into the BA MGL drum, BTW). Comments welcome :]

I love how you have the screwdriver as the pump! My Flickr R.I.P. Portaldude. We will all miss you. We'll remember your creations forever.

I think it acts more like a gas tube (the shotgun being semi-automatic, it doesn't need a pump); that's just me being a gun nut though :] Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

There you go SGT, you've impressed the Brickarms creator. Very nice mod, and very creative not using glue.

Thanks Will and F0x, I'm glad you guys like it! The only problem with this mod is that the MGL drum has a tendency to pop off if the shotgun is dropped, and when one fits the drum magazine back onto the SMLE's sight, the TLG pin will come loose because of the pressure from the screwdriver; so instead of putting a single piece back onto the shotgun, you end up putting all three back on at once. Other than that, it's a pretty secure "mod", it fits together rather nicely :] Here is another picture, so that you guys can see the small piece of wire wedged into the TLG pin (It's that bit of tan at the top of the shotgun's barrel):

This is almosst a perfect replica of the (fallout 3) combat shotgun! I especially like the gas pump and the fact that it is so clean. Keep up the great work. 10/10

Heh, I was just playing Fallout 3 just a moment ago... TERRIBLE SHOTGUN AWESOMESAUCENESS! The only thing wrong with it is, the drum is too far back. The drum is actually in front of the grip, which shown here is in front. The only thing in front of the drum is another tube, which is very thin. A ref. pic here

Yeah, I know. I was looking at that same reference picture a few hours ago. v2 is a little off, but I think it's close enough (I could probably get it even closer to the in-game model, but I'd have to mod it; the MGL drum isn't able to clip to the forward part of the SMLE). Hmm, you have given me an idea though; I'll try it out, and if it works, I'll post a few pictures up :] EDIT: You sir, have just brought about v3 :D ^Showing the extra space between the magazine and the barrel from v2 to v3. v2: I squeezed the clamp on the MGL drum and made it fit to the front of the SMLE, and then moved the TLG pin up a tad (this is held in place by a slightly bent SMLE sight, which was accidentally bent when I put a pin on earlier today). I added a piece of wire to the drum to hold the screwdriver in place, and I think it turned out nicely. I know the gas tube is still a bit too large, but I can't find anything that will work without modification. Comments? EDIT2: I just made a v4, and the only difference between v2 and 4 is that 4 uses the wire inside the drum magazine for increased stability (I think the v2/4 are more "minifig scaled" than the v3, which does resemble the Combat Shotgun in F3 closer than the v2/4, but I like the v2/4 a bit better because of the closer scale for the minifig and "playability"). Thanks for the cool idea though!

That's even better, and I know you say you don't like modding it. But, just if you do, here's what you do. Flip the screwdriver around, so it is in the perfect position, then modify the pin and a few other things to make it fir. Also, you might want to cut the mag off of the SMLE.
