When I posted my olive drab Willys Jeep on Flickr, RoA suggested that I should make a cargo extension for it. So I did. ;P All credit goes to him. I used a u-clip to hold the sides on.

Oh, and here's a picture of the olive drab Willys.

All comments are welcomed an greatly appreciated as always.

Thanks for looking,

As I've said on Flickr, I love them both! I personally love the cargo extension concept, although it looks strange on the real ones. Never the less, you pulled it of masterly.

Thanks, Socom. At least I got one fan to keep me going. ;P

Thanks, Captain Ordo, I agree it does look odd on the real ones. Thanks, I planned it out when I was laying it bed supposed to be sleeping. ;)

Aah.I always do that.My parents are in bed,I spring out of bed and just work on something,or think of how I could pull something neat off.

Both of them are great,I don't really know what to say...they're just so good,it's hard to think!Amazing,wonderful...I don't know what to say about these, they're just incredible-Ah!Yes,that was the word I was thinking of. ;)

There's just something about those Willys that make them...stand out.I love how you incorporated the U-Clip technique for the sides.

What's the thing with the handle?

It's supposed to be and ammo box (credit goes to Pvt. Keith for general idea), I threw it in at the last minute.

I always like a good Jeep.
But they look better packed full of figs sometimes.
The Whole thing is very well designed.

A 1x2 plate with a 1x2 tile on it and then a u-clip and another 1x2 tile.

Wow, that is awesome! Can you put some pics of exactly how you used the u-cilip, I can't really tell. The olive-drab looks AWESOME by the way.

Awesome Jeep! Of all the Williys' jeeps I've seen, yours and ROA's are by far tied for the best. Although, the Olive Drab one is more accurate to the real-life Willys, the Dk. Bley just looks more Lego-ey. The OD jusn't doesn't seem right in Lego. Anyways, the cargo extension is awesome, and I love the ammo box in the back. I assume Pvt. Keith's design with a walkie-talkie handle and paint?
