You can also get those torso's via Lego Digital Designer, they're quite cheap. Also, I like the paratrooper idea. I would give it a Thompson or a Garand as main weapon, and the M1911 .45 handgun as secondary weapon. It also needs an M1 helmet. We have been discussing a paratrooper for 3 years now... Are we in any stage of making one for sale in the long-term?

Wait...how can Will make the paratrooper wit the M1 helmets gone? War is instinct, man has fought and killed as far back as there were men. Instinct to see a threat and kill it. We fight from when we are toddlers up to when we die. You see humans HAVE to fight, or no progress would ever be made. My Flickr

According to this post, Will is currently working on his own design for a M1 Helmet. Once he has worked that out, he would then be in a position to make a Paratrooper.............if he so chooses. MMCB MMCB Custom Minifig Cloth Accessoriesmmcblego@gmail.comMMCB Custom Minifigs Gallery

This is the modern paratrooper that my friend Michele tried making for me. He's actually Ripcord from GI JOE, and I posted him previously. The backpack is a standard black minifig backpack with the top roll cut off, and the spare chute is not lego, and sculpted in the middle to fit the breathing apparatus. The visor and regulator on the helmet are also sculpted and not lego. the decals are also custom, but that went along with the minifig I wanted us to make. The spare chute is glued over the decal, so I guess we could make another one in tan. The Naboo fighter decal is much better I think, especially for a WWII era minifig paratrooper. If any of this is helpful in making the paratrooper, if anyone has any suggestions, let me know and I'll see what I can come up with.

He would have a Thomson or mabey a 'folding stock' M1 carbine. Anyone else thing this would be a good idea? Nah, I do't think WWII paratrooper in the Europen theatre should be made, I mean, with a few TLC Johnny thunder torsos, a TLC backpack and World War Era Brickarms, these guys are pretty easily made, I think this thread should discuss Modern Paratroop era, and heres what I think the paratroopers SHOULD come with: x1 M4 Carbine x1 M23 SOCOM mod

x1 M1 Carbine x1 M23 SOCOM mod Well I think Will or Badger should chose what weapons the paratroopers should have from the existing BA from World War Era Guns and BA prototypes that will come out later this year or next year. Back in the 40s, the paratroopers had a different array of weapons. during the invasion of normandy, paratroopers only had a Colt .45 and an M-1 Garand. Some paratroopers had wire stock M-1 Carbines and a Thompson, with the popular Colt .45

That is a great observation! I thought the same thing as I pawed through my bin of minifig heads last night. It would be nice if that head also came in yellow.
Just a quick suggestion, why not make a decal similiar to that face and put it on a blank yellow minifig head? I know thats a really old post but I was just wondering.
