Yay, sci-fi heavy weapons! It seems people always over look the need for these. I for one completely support it, and hope it becomes a BrickArm. This gun looks very unique and would blend very well with the other sci-fi guns.

I watched Aliens recently and I am now a huge fan of the Colonial marines. I hope that this will someday be at least prototyped. I'd love to see a brickarms M56 smartgun.

COD 4 is coming on wii november 10th!
I'll see you on COD 5 for wii, my user name is [GT]Iceman

Modding possibilities! Think of them.

Would it be held the same way as the minigun?

For every brickarm created, there is a minifig who needs it.
Sorry I haven't been posting: school is taking up a lot of my time

M56 (smartgun)+M41 assault rifle+M240(Flamethrower)+ motion detector+ squad of scared-to-death US Colonial marines= priceless.
No,really, many thinks that SCI fi exist only in form of star trek or star wars. Aliens (alien2) was one of the best sci fi movies ever. now BA will made almost all of weapons from movie :D. its not necessary that this serves only as motion assisted gun, but generally as sci fi asault gun. I support this idea 101%, and will buy many of them (in case that it will be for sale).

Aliens has long been one of my favorite sci-fi movies. Almost expressly because of the way they portray the human marines, and the weapons that they carry.

And I'm going to have to throw my support behind the development (tentative, of course, I clearly have nothing to do with it's actual development) of a two-handed version of this weapon. Although truth be told, and I understand the design difficulties involved, one of this weapons most intriguing features was the way it is mounted to the marine. As unrealistic as an expectation as that probably is, I like to dream of a world in which I can recreate Aliens, scene for scene, with minifigs wielding BA hardware. ;-)

with some exceptions you can ( or will be able in future) recreate entire aliens movie. M41 is already out for sale, M56 in work(though i dont think it will be out soon). We just need motion tracker and m240 flamer. And armor and helmets too.

Mod - Please don't speculate on what items Will is currently working on. Will has not stated anywhere that this is in the works. - John_0515

Yes this a good idea and I like kaboom4s idea about having a 3 weapon pack for alien guns, unless there is more.
