During combat there are obviously casualties, and when that cry of pain is heard on the battle field, in comes....The Brickarms Medic!
Ok, enough with the dramatic back story and on to the review!
This all is the First EVER review of a Brickarms Medic. Not only will I tell you all the amazing features of this little minifig, but I will also tell you how he came to be in my collection ( Will might remember ). So here is my review,
Back in the year 2008 Will posted a thread here with news that he would be marketing a rare minifigure known as The Medic. This minifig was special because it`s production run was only 30 units ( 25 at the time ). Reservations where made for $25 bucks a piece ( An amazing deal I think ). All 25 of the Medics sold right out overnight (no surprise ),, and then shipped out to the lucky few who had purchased them. Will then got back to work and offered 1 more for sale on Ebay.com. This minifigure ( #26 I believe ) sold for an incredible $180 + shipping! 4 months went by, with no more signs of the Brickarms Medic.
Along came Brickworld 08 in Chicago Illinois. ( My very first Lego Convention ). I won`t get into to much detail about my personal trip as this is a review not a bio.
But I will state just a couple personal things as they are somewhat important. I went to Brickworld 08 with my Grandfather ( No I`m not a small child ( 14 ) ) because I wanted to meet Will and Badger and had never been to a Lego convention before. When we arrived there and had seen the show, I noticed that there was I Charity Auction Saturday evening and on the list of items for sale was none other then the last Brickarms Medic!! I was shocked to see that there was still another figure out there that was being sold that evening! I headed to the show that evening where they sold a large amount of items while I sat and watched. Finally came the Medic, and after bidding the rest of my spending money ( which I did not kind at all as the proceeds went to charity ), I finally had a Brickarms Medic in my hands. Just as we where leaving, my grandfather suggested that I ask Will to sign it. I thought that that was an excellent idea. Will was kind enough to do so, and also took a few minuets to tell me a little about the Medic ( I will share this info in the next paragraph ) I shook Will`s hand, thanked him, and then headed back to my room.
Ok, before I bore you all any more I will get into the GOOD part of the review. The Medics (As I stated ) had a production run of 30, with 25 of them selling out over night. They sold for and excellent $25 with one of them making $ 180 on Ebay.com. This figure included a rare set of accessories such as I these,
An M1 pot Helmet with decal (which is now out of production)
A Medic kit that included a scalpel and syringe
A silver M1911
A shoulder bag with decal
A small cloth bag for the figure
An arm band with decal
And an amazing baseplate ( Will said that one of these Acrylic Baseplates took about 7 hours to cut!! )
Now here are some shots of the Medic, baseplate, and the other items he included
Here is the case,

And here is the Medic himself!
The bag that he came in and another shot of the Medic

Here is a shot of the fig on the Baseplate

This is probably my favorite part of the Medic ( Yes Will`s pen did break and He had to get a new one )
