According to Rumor Control, this item will: "Most likely see Mass Production" Next time you have a question like that or would just like to see what the latest word is for Prototypes, please consult the Rumor Control before asking these questions. ;-)

Nope, a 100% new design. And I look forward to having these come out! Just think of the modding possibilities!
For every brickarm created, there is a minifig who needs it.

I really like this design, I think that these should be sold in a 2 pack because they are mini compared to all the other guns.

I am assuming that it was modeled after the FN p90. I think it would look more realistic if the trigger guard was longer and possibly wider, to somewhat hide the grip. Also, it would look more to scale if the bottom of the gun past the grip fit closer to the minifig's arm, to bulk it up and make it look more realistic.

This is one weapon that I am looking forward to and hoping it makes it to full production. It reminds me alot of the Russian OTs-14 Groza and I can easily see buying about four and making two of them look like Groza's. A suppressor and a scope would not be hard to add on at all, already got an idea of what scope I would use. I'm not a big fan of the P90 due to it's sleek and futuristic design, though I do like how Will had made it not similar to the P90 and look more like a bullpup/PDW. Some real opportunity for modification and usage. Can't wait for it to get into production :)

That's just a modified AK-74U ;)~ You can see how the butt plate of the folding stock was attached directly to the back of the body and the hand grip/trigger assembly was moved forward. You can also see the top of the fore grip beneath the carry handle.

The Groza, as far as I know, never did see service though. Not just some movie prop or modification but an actual fire arm.
