Ok, I had no where else to post this so I mind as well put it here. I just got my brickarms and have been making great things with them! But when I post them up, no one responds and when they do, it's about the problems. Im sorry I'm acting like a baby about it but all I need is help...

That, my fellow BA fan, is constructive criticism. I know how you feel: when I posted my first vigs, I got practically no comments. Just be patient, and keep posting! Thats all I can say.

Well, hello to the forums.

For every brickarm created, there is a minifig who needs it.

Me, too. You are not the only one that has stuff uncommented. I posted my SWAT team and got heavy and painfull retaliation. But now, I learned from the mistake, and can make a fig that people would enjoy! Don't forget, you learn from your mistakes. ;)

I hope you enjoy it here on these forums.

Yeah, I hate that feeling, like everyone looks at it but it seems no one cares. Try writing "Please respond", or "C&C welcome" at the end of your posts.

Don't feel bad if no one comments, I posted a vignette a long time ago, it got about 350 views and no posts. And when people are telling you the problems with a creation, that's constructive criticism, you can't expect people to completely ignore problems that you're creation might have. The best thing you can do is listen to what the people are saying and try to improve your creation.

Check out my Flickr! Last updated: October 19th, 2009. No big MOCs from me for a while, I've got a vignette I'm working on, and it's using my best pieces.

Constructive criticism is your friend. When you get feedback, acknowledge it in a comment, or use the feedback to improve the MOC in a "version 2" so members can see that you took their advice. As for comments, don't say "please comment": it sounds desperate and like all you want to hear is praise. If you let people know that you're open to suggestions, they will be more likely to give feedback. Some other things to consider, if you haven't already: 1. Use a unified color scheme (no "rainbow" MOCs). If you don't have all the pieces you need, use multiple colors in a pattern that makes sense. 2. Photograph on a white background. A piece of posterboard or draft paper propped up on an old science fair board works well. And 3. Put pictures directly into your post rather than using links. There's information on how to do this in the "guide to posting MOCs" section. It's more appealing to us lazy folk who don't want to click links.
How's that for constructive feedback?

And on a final note, welcome to the forums!
