They are quite different, in my opinion. If you look at my comparison. You can see that there are a few key differences. The stock on both the XM8 and Magpul are pretty similar. The pistol grip and magazine are very similar. The XM8 has a scope. The Magpul doesn't. The recievers are pretty different, but slightly similar. The barrel covers are very different. I think that they're different enough. :)

Ya' know, I really was convinced at first that this was almost identical to the SCAR. But, this...this is just too good! I actually can see this as a BA weapon!
If you can't beat em'... join em'... and shoot em' in the back! Everywhere I go...brickarms always know..that I got some money for some guns that I'm gonna blow... (whoo!) *hollywood undead song, modified to brickarms :D* Vote Heavy Assault Rifle for the Fan Choice Vote 2010! We need a SCAR/Masada!

I just found out that this is in the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 video game. Here is a video that shows it - vid. The gun appears exactly 28 seconds into the video.

I saw this on wikipedia today, I love this gun! The gun has a brilliant look, is very unique, and it has many modding possibilities!

A good replacement for the G36/Assault Carbine. Plus a beautiful gun that would translate well into a BA gun. I think if it was made, however, it should be made with a Reflex or RDS. I like my guns tactical yet simplistic, and the ACR/Masada gets the job done.

As long as it has a silencer, I'm sold.

This gun would be awesome for the brickarms lineup!

That's an EOTech 552 scope which is actually the one I would want as well.

I put a slash because they are the same type of scope. EOTech is just the generic brand that makes holographic sights.

I've always liked the ACR, and I'd love to see Will add one to the BrickArms line-up. It's like the AC8 in terms of looking modern and sci-fi. I can already imagine one with an M203 grenade launcher, a silencer, and the scope of the MP44 Vampir. I hope you guys like this weapon as much as I do.

I think an ACR should have a red-dot or holographic sight and suppressor.

I support this gun, and I too like the idea of a Holographic or Red Dot sight.
