Joedward wrote:Has Will at all considered the possibilities of over molding such an accessory? (you know, just so the barrels can spin) Or would an object of this size become too complicated? But overmolding would still make it one piece, just part of it a different color. The barrels would have to be seperate from the body to spin, but it would be cool if Will developed a peg-and-slot system similar to the Lewis Gun's magazine, so the barrels could spin. Freeloh wrote:Hm, It looks beautiful. But I have a problem... It can only be used right handed. Being a left handed shooter, I would have to arm my sig-figs with a minigun LEFT HANDED because I can't stand my sig-figs any other way. It would be too hard (for me at least) to mod it left handed, so I thought, would it be possible to mold the handle seperately, so it can be turned, and make the part where the ammo chain is meant to be attached detachable and have holes on each side for it to be placed. You understand me? I hope so. This would make it more expensive, I'm sure, but I think it would be absolutely worth it. It is seperate... This just ruined my whole plans for being able to go to Brickworld and get some prototypes. And, our family doesn't have the money OR time to go to Seattle. I just got my outlaw leader and his minigun! I think that the size is great for minifigs +, but i don't know whether to put it on my boat, my other boat, my mech, my hardsuit, my scifi infantry gunner, my truck or my ARC gunner. Too many choices for such an epic and vesatile weapon.
The dark side clouds everything- no it doesn't yoda, that's just the black ABS- plasticky goodness of BRICKARMS!!! visit my flickr- Mah flicka!

As to make the brickarm proto to the ultimate limit of it's awesomness, I would begin the first starting of the ammo chain black, and then the rest would be bronze (If attainable). Proto's are peasant so make them more pleasant.

EDIT: Does Will give out Bronze U-Clip's for freebies? Is there even bronze u-clips?

SWEET! Will was generous enough to let me have one at BrickWorld 08. Love it! It makes my mini-figs look ready to finish the job.

Will, i was wondering if you could also make a ammo box like thing that could attach to the minigun? That way it would look like your minifig had plenty of ammo for it! (after all, the minigun fires 3000 rounds per min. 50 rounds PER SECOND!)
Thanks Will.
P.S. it would be awesome it the ammo box could be attached to the minifig back using a TLC neck strap with stud on it thing (i dont know what the specific name for that lego peace is).

The few...the proud...THE BRICKARMS Actually, at least according to Futureweapons and the Mythbusters, the Dillon Aero M134D Minigun only fires half of what you said, 3000 RPM (Rounds Per Minute), or 50 rounds per second. I am very tempted to make a mech with about 50 of these grafted on to it in senseless places. 100 RPM elbows? I think yes.
