Stalingrad cannot fall! The only solution: the PPSh!

Yesss! Another WWII BAP! And the design of this thing is fantastic! I'm anxious for this one to come out! But I never knew that PPSh's could use stick magazines...

Like I said on Flickr, this blows me away. Totally blows me away, the fact that they are interchangeable brings about a whole new level of modularity for the BrickArms lineup, one which I am more than just a big eager for! The design of the gun itself is sublime, and the options you've given it are only icing on the cake! One thing though, maybe it's a bit of an optical illusion but I can't help but shake the feeling from the first image that the barrel is...curved? I know it's just a prototype and as such designs are bound to change somewhat, but I'm perplexed as it doesn't really appear so in subsequent images! Are they the same gun (which it looks like) that has something about the body to give that impression from a certain angle...or different guns molded slightly differently (due to being prototypes), or should I just put in a new pair of contacts? ;)

Fantastic Will, this lineup looks to be by far the best yet. And that certainly is saying something!

To explain a bit, the PPSh needs to be revised a bit to better accept the magazines. Currently, the sizes are a little off, and the magazine causes the front of the gun to warp or bend a little bit. Rest assured, Will is going to fix this! :)

At least I'm not going blind (a bit gray but not blind ;) ). Thanks for the explanation, if it's just an artifact of being a prototype, I have every confidence it'll be fixed up perfectly.

From what Will's told me, it will be! This is one that he's quite fond of too, and I'm sure he's eager to get it fixed up. :)

EDIT: Here's my pic of the PPSh:

Quite a bend.

From Will to me:

You are not mistaken - the PPSh still needs some work! You'll need to shave the inside of the magazine acceptor, before the mags will fit.

Great minds think alike, no? :P

I like it though, but I still believe the BAR and Luger are a bit better.

Also interchangable clips. Awesome!

Great, now I got the USSR National Anthem in my head.
But, I love this gun! Excellent work Will! three WW2 weapons in one batch of prototypes!

It looks like the drum clip could be used on its own as a anti-tank mine or something. This prototype really amazes me!

And they might just win as well. The magazine and drum looks so good, but the drum looks a little better.

I think the magazines would be more useful if they had a clip-sized hole in them and a part of the gun that is grippable.

Another gun I will be drooling over, except this time I can drool over all of the great mods I can make with it. I really like that Will didn't just make it with a stick or drum mag, I love the idea of interchangable magazines a lot! It will make it much easier to use them for mods!
