Good idea. Here is what I think would be cool - link - or - this - or maybe - this.

P.S. It could have - this - too

That last link if my preference if this be made. Personally, I really support this weapon because, if this is made, it would bridge the gap between Assault rifle and Machine gun - the Battle Rifle. A heavy-caliber, slow firing, low magazine capacity rifle. It's a aesthetically sexy weapon (And certainly functional to boot), and in the real world provides Navy soldiers with heavy firepower and tactical accessories only matched in potential by the FN SCAR-H.

So, in a nutshell, I'm crazy about the EBR, but if Will were to make a "Battle Rifle" I would imagine he wouldn't make essentially a modified version of an existing item, but rather make one of the more popular FN FAL/L1A1 or H&K G3s.

But since the passing of the G36 and MP7, our "Tactical and Modern" BA choices are very slim, so I fully support this weapon.

Will also said that he would not be making a G3, so there is another reason to support this!

See, this is such a versatile weapon that it could be used for modern, sci-fi, steampunk. And it has excellent modding possibilities and tons of possible grip points.

I've got another moddng possibility- cut off the skinniest barrel part and it would be a grenade launcher.

HUH! I'm not sure what you are trying to say. Could you please explain? (If this sounds rude or like minimodding please say something)

This thing's pretty cool, it's a bit too tactical for me, but I think I could start to like this if I see it in BrickArms form.

Check out my Flickr! My big vignette is almost done. Should be finished in a month or two!

You are right, it wouldn't look so "tactical" when it is in BA form, it would just be too small fit the railing and all that.

I like all the Ideas, and see the faults in my U-clip suggestion, although I still think the kit should be made, only under the name SDM kit. You could have
-a custom lego grenade launcher(m4 style)
-lego binoculars or telescope( Sci fi or normal binoc's)
-EBR
-Bipod
-Monopod
-3 uclips for excess mods
-M21 kit
-Lego cargo net(for sniper hides)
-Shovel and Pickaxe(diddo)
-M4
This kit should be produced in the prototype stage, if their is one...

The barrel part that sticks out, and leave the part where you would hold it with your non-dominant hand.

I do. But I'm not too sure about the likelihood of it. Maybe if the EBR is made then you could suggest the idea as a weapon pack.

That or the kit could be produced in the prototype EBR stage, kindoff like the zombie defense pack and combat SG...

Yeah that could work too.

P.S. What do people think about the stock? Since the cheek piece can be raised or lowered, where should it be positioned as a BA?

Well, the stock is as easily fixable as, say, the MP5's stock or the M4 carbine's stock. If either of those were entirely accurately scaled, the 'fig wouldn't be able to hold it. So Push it up and in a bit, and it'll be fine.

Another issue is the cheek rest. I think it should just be deleted...
