Hey everybody. This is my first review so bear with me. I attended brickworld this past weekend and the Brickarms team was gracious enough to give some prototypes and let me buy some exclusives. So let's start- First up the AC8 This looks amazing! I love the look of this gun in real life and I'm so glad Brickarms is making it. It is perfect for modern assault or sci-fi troops. Plus, look at all the modding capabilities. The gun is grippable by its handle (obviously), the fore grip, and the acog scope. Which brings me to my next point. The scope! It is extremely realistic and if you cut it off you could put it on virtually any gun. On side note, you'll notice mine is a rust color which really does look great. I'm not wild about it on such a futuristic looking gun but I can imagine it on older guns looking real nice. Next is Trans-weapons As you can see the green trans-weapons glow brilliantly in UV light. The trans by themselves are great for aliens or other sci-fi stuff but when they glow... they are just too awesome. I can't event describe it. Now for the Sawn-off Shotgun I love this gun. Probably my second favorite ever. It is just so awesome. You can use it for anything from Mad Max (pictured) to Mafia gangsters. I do however, see why Will isn't totally satisfied with it. From the side and top the gun looks great. It is full of details. But when you stare down the business end, it looks like a big blob. The shape of two barrels are there but they're connected on the side. I think if will could fix that this would be my favorite gun. Now for Chrome Weapons Well not much to say except- Shiny! This is a pretty cool color though. Goes great with sci-fi. It also makes the texture of the guns smoother in my opinion. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing to you, for me it's just interesting. Onto to the MG42 When I first saw this gun I said, "Meh, I guess I'll get one or two." Getting one in person has changed my mind. The is a very detailed gun that looks awesome. It is totally grippable all over. Great for german outposts or fortified positions. I suppose you could use this for sci-fi as well. One beef I have though is-I can't figure out how to connect an ammo chain to it. It just doesn't seem to fit sideways like it should. I've only been able to clip is to the bottom. Still a great gun though. Next is the Alien Plasma Blade and Needle Gun Both of these are fantastic. The Alien Plasma Blade is great and I got it in this awesome color. Perfect for a certain video game that will not be mentioned. ;) The Needle Gun is great as well. Very accurate design that is full of details. Now the Plasma Pistol and Photon Gun The Plasma Pistol is great. I am sure to get a few when they come out. It is again very detailed and accurate to it's original design. I'm not wild about the photon gun though. I have never been a big fan of Photon Gun wielding americans and aliens who fly around space and get beamed down to planets. (I didn't want to say the name of the show so I gave a brief description.) Even getting one in person hasn't really changed my mind. It's an okay gun but I think it's just too small. Almost done- The Longslide Pistol My third favorite prototype. I really love this gun. The scope could be cut off and attached to another gun and then you'd have something that resembles a Desert Eagle. I love the length of this gun, it feels like it could pack a real punch. The scope is very unique and cool. Can't wait to get my hands on more. Finally, The Minigun and Ammo Chain This has got to be my favorite prototype ever. It is so versatile. You can have your fig hold it, you can mount it on a car, and you can attach it to a mech. The minigun just screams awesome. It can be for modern or sci-fi. When combined with the ammo chain they are unstoppable. The ammo chain is great as well. I can't wait to get tons and make a huge chain. Well thanks for reading. If you want bigger a better view all my pics are links.
