Wow ! Im sooo astonnished. This contest is open now for only a few days. And we have already about 3 Pages of Entry + about every day 5 more! I get really worried now , and ask myself if the "no limit on Entrys" was a smart idea at all. But that wont stop me from entering. I do have a idea now , but i only want 1 or 2 to enter and those should be perfect. Not 5-10 that arent perfect :S .

quick question: i gotta base plate over 32x32. can i still use it, leaving out the remaining parts? or do i have to make my own baseplate with smaller ones put together?
MOD - You'd need to build your own baseplate.

Am I correct in assuming that the "No overhang" rule applies to major parts of the vig, as opposed to plants that have leaves hanging over a stud or two? MOD - YesThanks. A quick question: does the overhang rule apply only if it extends past the 32x32 limit?

ohh the last sentences wasn't correct in English i think...sry ^^ Nicht war es sinnvoll. Sie fragten, ob beide Seiten des Kampfes BrickArms haben müssen. (translation to english=No, it made sense. You asked if both sides of the battle need to have BrickArms.) I hope my translating site worked, please state if it did. Anyways, I totally redid the landscape of half my vig from just a baseplate to BPP (Baseplate Plus Plate; and variation of BPB; Baseplate Plus Brick) yesterday, and I plan to do the second half today. It's so awesome (well, IMO) that I don't think it can be fully appreciated with the minifigs on. Am I allowed to post a pic of just the landsape w/o figs as well as a few pics w/ figs? Okay, so here's my situation: I've got an cube-like asteroid made of 6 8x8 faces, with action on all sides, so I need a stand. How large does the base of the stand have to be to prevent overhang? And if there are structures on some of the faces that stick out over the stand but not over the face that they're on, does that count as overhang? I know this sounds confusing, but I can't build the stand until I know what the rule is.

My entry is almost finished. One question though, I put two baseplates together (which are 16x32) and are arranged in a "T" formation. Is it okay to have spaces like that?

MOD - For everyone with "does this idea fit the space rule?"- type questions: draw a square that's 32 x 32 studs in size. If it fits in that box, it's prefect. If not, it's too large

Adding to what badger said I would place a 32x32 baseplate under my vignette when it's finished too see if it's too big. My Flickrdictators will act as if they are leaders, even when they know they aren't. your main target shouldn't be what you focus on most, but every other surrounding is what you should look at most.

Am I allowed to have the two factions with unequal numbers? Because just last month I ordered about 20 or so minifigs, all of the same faction, but m other faction is kind of low at the moment. Also, would it be permited that not every fig has a weapon, but that there are weapons on the vig, like discarded weapons and such?
