The point of the Zombie Defense Pack is to contain weapons usually associated with Zombie movies. In Zombie movies, the main characters are usually normal people defending their home, or escaping a city. They pick up guns and weapons easily found, such as shotguns kept as self-defense, weapons from local gunshops, handguns from Police Stations, and usually a baseball bat (who doesn't own a baseball bat?)
So unfortunately, I doubt the Spas-12, the LMG, the Machete and Combat Knife would be included, and definitely, definitely not an RPG-7.

Well, it depends on the survivors eh? and as for the machete and combat knife well they could find an army surplus shop! I've seen things like that there you know and they could raid an army base.

Nice pack, though add a paintball marker in some trans-color. That would be sweet.

What use would a paint ball gun have against a zombie? o.O

You can buy a machete or combat knife/survival knife of some sort. As for the LMG, you couldn't get that, an SPAS 12, or an RPG. The rest of those weapons he mentioned, you could buy.

i hate that the pack was discontinued just because they ran out of zombie heads. Who cares!? We love brickarms, not TLCs we could get on bricklink.
by the way, IDK why we say TLC. The Lego Company? Why not just LEGO?
Sounds like Tasty Little Crackers.

Who cares if it's in a movie? If it works, PUT IT IN! First off, respect your elders! He's the reason we have zombies in modern pop culture, and Romero established the rules and mythos of zombies that guide films and literature to this day. As you can tell, I'm a very, very big fan of zombie films and have a been student of them for some time. It's a fascinating genre, albeit one that's gotten a tad overexposed as of late. Given the zombies are completely and utterly fictional (sorry, Max Brooks!), it's completely and utterly appropriate to base the weaponry in a Zombie Defense Pack around those most commonly depicted in the major works of zombie films. In zombie films, weaponry is commonly acquired from three sources: - The home - Gun supply retail outlet - Military sources The first two are by far the most commonly depicted in the hands of survivors. Generally speaking, relative abundance and availability are key in determining what weapons are depicted, although style and screen impact also play a role. Lightweight, precision weapons are generally preferred as they're easily portable (important when fleeing approaching shuffling zombie hordes) and pack enough of a punch to remove the head or destroy the brain. Weapons with higher rates of fire (LMG, don't work as well, given zombies easily absorb wounds to the body, and explosive weaponry (RPG, Bazookas) are generally too heavy and lack the precision and rate of fire needed to overcome larger groups of zombies. In a pinch, melee weapons that are large and heavy enough to inflict such damage (particularly the machete) are best. Generally speaking, here is a list of weapons commonly depicted: - Shotguns, both auto and pump-action - Rifles, commonly available types as well as hunting rifles - Machetes, commonly available in any hardware store - Commonly available (both legal and illegal) SMGs - Baseball Bat and other bludgeoning-type weapons found around the home (pipe, cricket bat, the Batman soundtrack) - M16/M4 and AK as heavier military weapons optioned from or used by police and/or military personnel With all those principles in mind, I think an updated zombie pack could be a nice addition to the BrickArms line-up, not that Will has expressed any specific plans to introduce one. What I'd recommend: focus on items in the Suggestions forums that would make nice additions to the BA line-up in and of themselves and be perfect additions to an updated Zombie Defense Pack.

Well, wouldn't LMGs actually be good, as multiple shots to the head in a short period of time would most certainly take out a zombie. Also, explosive weaponry would be effective, as long as the head is within the blast radius. If a Zobie's head is blown off, they're as good as gone. Also, LMGs would be good for holding back zombies, as a 7.62 round coming from an MK48 (what the Combat LMG is based off of) would punch it to the ground, giving a sniper a still target to take out. As far as I know, it's easier to hit a stationary target than a moving one. So, my conclusion is that the pack should include these products: 1x Combat LMG 2x Magnum revolvers 1x Machete 1x Baseball Bat 1x AK Assult Rifle 1x M21 Sniper Rifle (hunting rifle) 1x Black Garand (hunting rifle) 1x M1911 1x M4 Carbine 1x Combat Shotgun 1x RPG 1x Combat Knife (everyone has a knife, don't they?) 2x Micro Uzis 1x Sawn-off shotgun (if it's ever mass-produced. Even if it's not, maybe it could be included anyways, like the Combat Shotgun was in the old ZDP before it was put into mass-production) Maybe it could include a Trench Gun as a generic hunting shotgun of it's ever produced, as well. You mentioned the shuffling horde of zombies, but I believe the weapons listed in the Zombie Pack would be more suited for the "Infected" of the 28 Days series or the Left 4 Dead series. I do, however, feel better knowing I'm not the only zombie movie fan on this site.
