On my "welcome to BA Forums" post I mentioned it, and with no further ado, I present:

My 8ft, 68 (maybe 69, I'm not sure) minifigure, countless BA, all of my dk bley monstrosity of a D-Day Assault.

It's 16 x ~350 studs, qualifying it as three SHIPs

If you prefer flickr, the set may be found here

But, a quick rundown of what we have:

The troops on the beach:

Commandos assaulting a house behind the German Lines:

A German and BA filled bunker:

AND a BAP LUGER! (Thanks Badger, once again):

Thanks for checking it out. And once again, if you're interested, more here

This is probably one of the best and largest vigs yet. You will definitely fit in with the WWII fans.

I must repeat what I said on Flickr. This is truly incredible. I am blown away by the detail! Just a small question: how did you attain so many Russian Uniforms for your US troops?

This is astounding! I know that if I had the right brick to make this, I would try and replicate yours! Tell me, do you keep it strictly as a display type thing, or do you play around with it?

http://100thbg.org/: My grandpa fought in World War II. Here's the Bomb Group he was in. He was in the airforce, and survived the war. On the website, you can read up on the missions, see pictures, and learn some history. He's still living today, at 93 years old. :)

WOW! This vignette (Bignette, perhaps?) is truly amazing! It has a lot of detail, such as the ground and inside the German bunkers, and it is also very historically accurate! I would say that you are definitely one of the greatest World War II builders of all time! My ultimately favorite parts of this vignette are definitely the paratroopers storming a German bunker and the beach landings. I think these are the greatest because they are very action packed and full of detail, not to mention full of surprises too.

Overall, this is one of the greatest vignettes I have ever scene. Thanks for posting this fantastic creation on the forums.

I don't play with it per say, but I do pretty much constantly tweak it. Even though it's epically long, it's only 16 studs wide, so there's not all that much playability.

I play with my other MOCs, not this one, this one is basically pure display (especially with all the little action poses).

As for the classification, it's certainly NOT a vignette (or even a bignette). It's a full-out diorama, and a SHIP.

I unfortunately will not be bringing this to brickcon, as I will be in college out-of-state.

Perhaps (hopefully) BrickWorld next year. Although finding 8 feet of space would not be fun.

Anyways, thanks for the support!

Awesome but I don't think its historically correct 100% Soldiers should be wearing Dark-tan German should be Dark-Gray bunkers where bigger and more up the hill.

There where trenches behind the German bunker and beyond that Artillery.

but still awesome!
