Will, you know how put a silencer on the MP7, but made it easy for people to remove? I think it would be great if the Combat PDW could use the same feature.

I'm not jazzed with adding a supressor to this one. I want it to be small and compact. A supressor would spoil this.

I agree a silencer would just make it look weird the way that the silencer would be the only thing sticking out past his hand would just be to distracting and would take away from the compact but deadly feel to this.

I'll go either way. I was actually thinking the same thing 5 minutes after I posted lol. I like your vision of it being small and compact.

I like the idea of a Personal Defence Weapon, but it looks a little to small and stubby.

Bear in mind that PDWs are suppose to extremely compact. That's sort of the point: a weapon that's only a bit larger than a pistol but with the bite of an assault rifle.

Note in this picture how compact a P90 really is:

I'll also say that macrophotography tends to make things look a bit distorted. When the hundreds of fans saw the BA Combat PDW in person, not a single one mentioned anything about it being too stubby or undersized. True, it's a smaller accessory, but then that's its designed to be!

I totally agree. What's the point of having a small, concealable-sized weapon, only to have the problem of being "stubby"?

It looks great! I personally don't mind the stubbyness, it looks nice and compact.

I am pro silencer! If it has a narrow connection point (as with the previous BA PDW) It should be easy as pie to cut off. I'm sure everyone here on the forums have access to scissors. I think te silencer looks cool, and if you change your mind, snip snip no more silencer! Yay! SO yeah, I LOVE this gun for its PDWness as the old one will be missed. :'(

I still really think this needs a silencer or something at the end of it. True the real version is very compact, but when you shrink so small down to lego scale, it tends to look a bit stuby. I think Will should consider making this a bit longer (or just adding a silencer) for better playability.

As I hold the PDW in my hand right now I don't think that it looks stubby at all. Albeit it would look cooler if it had a silencer but I personally think it looks fine without a silencer.

Will said he wouldn't add a silencer and I totally agree. This gun is supposed to as compact as possible. You can always make your own silencer.

If you want a silencer it is easy to mod one yourself... the "SuperLegoPerson Mod" or SLP Mod silencer would work well.

Lt. Valella, Mr. Chapman has already made it clear that he will not incorporate a silencer into the Combat PDW.

I also thing that a silencer would be unnessecary, but I do think that it's a bit stubby right now. Maybe lengthen the barrel by just a tiny little bit. Not too much, just a few millimeters.

Yes, that is the point of them being prototypes. ;)

BTW - In the future, I'd love to know how it could use a bit of work. Let me know what areas you'd like to see changed, or "fixed".

Well, Will, I would have to say the only thing needing improvement is the thin fingergaurd. The bottom of the fingergaurd could be thickend, then connected to the bottom of the handle.

Just a suggestion.

^Just so you know, this is NOT a P90, but a similar item. Just wanted to get the point across.
