Sergeant Collins, US Army. Anchorage, Alaska, 2077

Equipped with an R91 Assault Rifle, Winterized Combat Armor, Binoculars, and a Winterized Combat Helmet.

A fictional character based on the US Infantrymen in the Operation: Anchorage DLC. I haven't seen a Lego R91 Assault Rifle, or winterized combat armor, so I decided to give it a try.

(The R91 Assault Rifle is a modified BA G36 [the R91 was made from a completely stripped down G36 mod that was made before the '36 was discontinued]).

(Based off of the picture from the "American Soldier" page at The Vault (Fallout Wikia)).

The R91 Assault Rifle from Fallout 3 resembles a G3, so yes, this gun resembles the G3 from CoD4 :]

Looks great! The weapon and the fig are easily recognisable. I'm off to Flickr to fav' this!

Check out my Flickr! Last updated: October 19th, 2009. No big MOCs from me for a while, I've got a vignette I'm working on, and it's using my best pieces.

I LOVE THE ASSAULT RIFLE!!! Over all the fig is great. The armor is perfect compared to the winterized Combat armor in the game!

What type of paint did you use? And while I like the 'fig, I don't love the gun.

One suggestion, you might use the new goggles from the SW Hoth set.

How and what did you use for the chest armor plates?
Just wondering... And this soldier is great. What made me pay attention was the armor plate, and the modified gun he had.

I have never played Fallout 3, but that fig is amazing. Nice job on the R91 and body armor.

Just one of these with the two ends removed/sanded, and painted (along with two visors for the shoulder pieces, which is a technique that's been around for awhile):

Thanks! I'm glad you like it :]

I'm probably going to use this same idea for the Wasteland version of the Combat Armor (it's a brown/OD color), when I get another one of those armor pieces. I'll post it up here if/when I do :]

As much as i love your soldier i cant overlook that you "ruined" G36. I hope you understand how hard is to get one? Anyway, your soldier look very nice, especialy armor with shoulder pads. As others pointed: try hoth googles. Still it is great for any fallout 3 vig/dio. Now we only need muties and ghouls...
