After I got my first Bazooka from BrickCon I was trying to figure out a way to ive it that just fired look with the rocket just coming out of the bazooka and I came up with this. I drilled a hole all the way throught the bazooka and a little hole that goes about half way through the rocket. There's a lot of pictures so bare with me.

I also drilled out a clear bazooka. You can see how it works.

All comments are welcomed and greatly appreciated as always.

Thanks for looking,

Very nice. What'd you use to drill the hole? (and if you say a drill, I will kick myself)

Whump! Ow!
Uh, anyways. Ah, drill press. I've used a tiny screwdriver to bore holes in stuff-takes a long while, though. Do you use one of the big standing drill presses(or is there no other kind? Last time I used a drill press was freshman year in high school)? Or are there smaller ones?

Great, and maybe it's the purist in me, but I would like it more if the the hole in the Bazooka could fit a (clear) 4L bar, which you would in turn trim down on one end, enabling it to fit the M6, so you would be using all Lego elements. Except, of course, the BA! ;)

You should totally do what the Newb said and put a spring in the launcher, so it actually fires if you press the rocket down. That would be epic.

Thanks, Edge.

When I was drilling out the clear one the the drill bit got stuck in it and made some nice swirl marks.

Nice! I plan to make a firing bazooka soon. But this is a pretty sweet mod. Very clean.

For every brickarm created, there is a minifig who needs it.
Sorry I haven't been posting: school is taking up a lot of my time

I normally don't comment on weapon mods but you did such a fantastic job on this I had to give you props. Nice job using a clear one to demonstrate better. Now you need to track down a light grey pipecleaner to use a a smoke trail.

For your vigs, you could consider gluing a thin strip of cotton, like part of a cotton ball, that has been loosely rubbed in some gray paint, for that "just fired and still smoking look." It would be really awesome, and look more realistic. Other than that, great mod!

That was very good. It must have been a pain to have to hold the 'zooka so still. I would have drilled a small hole just big enough to fit a TLC fire piece so that it would look like a blast!

Nice idea. Good for posing. You could have a vig w/ ww2 soldiers reloading a bazooka just after hitting a panzer, or a tiger. :D
