Before you read this I suggest reading part 1 first. I thought we would at least have tents to sleep in at night, but no, I asked the capt. were we would sleep. he handed me a shovel and pointed towards little inlet in the side of the trench. as the day ended we were given dinner. it was so bad. when gdsm benidict came by with a lantern, it lit up the dark and I saw maggots in rancid meat in disgust I threw it over the top. It made quite a loud noise. then a minute later I heard automatic weapons let loose on the area on top of me. parish said they must of thought i was guys fixing the wire. as I sat in my hole as guys walked by me I wondered if I would survive.

Nice! A great second edition to the series! You will make it a series, won't you? I quite like the inlet design, too.
