From the post at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/legomilitary/discuss/72157604182049397/

The Flickr LEGO Military Group is excited and proud to announce its first Military Building Competition.

While LEGO has yet to produce an official Military theme of its own, there have
always been LEGO fans out there building tanks and warplanes. In recent years,
Military has been a steadily growing "unofficial" theme; and we really hope that
the prospect of winning glory and recognition on the merciless field of a LEGO
building competition may inspire some talented builders out there to try the
theme out for a MOC or two.

We're grateful to BrickArms for sponsoring the competition, so if you’re in need
of some minifig accessories, do consider checking out their impressive arsenal
of weaponry at brickarms.com/.

Veterans and recruits welcome!

BrickArms is sponsoring the contest, and I will be providing some great prizes to the winners! Submit your entry on Flickr, and you could win!

The winners have been announced!

Ooh! I might enter that! (When I get a Flickr account set up...) Hmm... Then again, alongside Corran101's, obxcrew's, NannanZ's and multiple other people's MOCs, mine would look pathetic...

Well, you don't succeed by not trying, so I'll have a go! Now where is Hacker... (NZLSA Engineer)

MiPod

Edit: Hold on... Do I have to be part of the Flickr LEGO Military Group to enter?

"What do iPods and guns have in common?" You ask? Well, if I told you that, I'm afraid I'd have to kill you! ;)

Enlist in Alpha Company today! Build an infantry squad, follow the official campaigns and participate in contests and community build projects!

Yes, but it's really easy to enter - all you have to do is submit a picture of a military MOC to the group pool, and you're in.

Oh, I see... That'll be easy!

Hmm... Model, Diorama or Vehicle... WWII, Modern or WWIII...

Since it isn't on BA does it have to have BA in it?

Nope.

It's also worth noting that you can submit as many entries as you want.

I just entered my entry!

Ideas are far more powerful than guns. We don't allow our enemies to have guns, why should we allow them to have ideas?

Normally I would withdraw my entry, just to give MiPod a chance, but since there are (probably) Brickarms as prizes, no way! ;) Unfortunately my and tanks have already been posted online and I can't enter them. :( Which means I'm making another tank! I'd probably have a better chance if the entries were divided into different age groups, as I am 12.(almost 13) I hope you enter MiPod! Good luck to all! :)

Well I might enter, but I don't really understand by what they mean when it says "Futuristic" Like an armored hovercraft? or something Sci-Fi?

I know how you feel! I'm begining to think that age groups are ging out of style :(
Anyway, I hope to enter this one. I just finished taking apart my unneeded MOCs, that gives me pieces to work with.

Well, I am almost ready to take pictures of mine. I have built a Vignette, a couple of dioramas (I am still working on one), a couple aircraft, and some ground vehicles.

You should take a look at my 2 Sci-Fi Tanks in the MOCs forum, they might give you some ideas. :)
