I'm sure you all remember Nannan's excellent Halo Warthog vignette he submitted in the BrickArms Halo Vignette contest. Did you also know that Xbox magazine featured it in a 2-page spread in the May 2008 issue? Wow! He even gave BrickArms a nice shout out, and featured the BrickArms BA-M5, and BA-M6 in the hands of the Master Chief and The Flood. (Click the thumbnail for a full-sized shot with readable text)

I saw this one on Nannan's flickr page. A lot of Halo and LEGO fans now probably want the BA-M5 & 6.

That's awesome! I wonder how the publisher of that article (Scott Butterworth) found out about his creation? Thats really cool.

That's great! The coolest part is, just about anyone in the U.S. can pick this magazine up from Walmart or Seven-Eleven and see BrickArms in it!

How much publicity can Brickarms get? What'll Brickarms be featured in next?

"So obviously you won this contest you entered this project into." "Ummm . . . .not so much" "What?! What sort of brain-dead mutants were judging!?" "He calls himself badger" But seriously, this fantastic MOC deserves every bit of press it's gotten, and it will always have a very special place in BrickArms. badger

"He calls himself badger" Hah, if that were true, you'd get public disgrace and would have to wear a paper bag over your face. Just joking.

Thanks for the post Will, it was great opportunity that gave the lego community more publicity. I couldn't be more happy that I decided to enter the Halo contest here or none of this could've ever happened. I'm glad many enjoyed the article. -Nannan

Crazy he got into a magazine. I look up to him. I can't believe a lego vig could get in! IT IS POSSIBLE! Trying, and failing is much better, than not trying at all.My Flickr Photostream
