Great Job! I dont think the grey lines are intended to be cuts. That's just the way the face is modeled.

This is a really cool vig. I was quite shocked to see that I hadn't commented on it when it first came out. I like it's small scale, and concentrated area. For some reason, every time I see a picture of this vig, I feel like it's taking place in a subway station or something. Is it?

Those gray streaks are actually supposed to be camo paint. But I guess that is a pretty creative way of looking at it.
