I like this idea. I go for regular M1 Carbine.

Oh yeah, mind if I join the "I held the M1 Carbine" club? The thing is actually pretty light.

There ain't that many rifles that would look bad as Brickarms, and this is no exception. Interesting to see what it could look like.

I don't really want to buy world war weapons, but if the M1 carbine is created (and availible in black) I would buy some for my sci-fi guys. This weapon is truly awesome and Beutiful I would love to see it produced.

I disagree, the M21 is longer and more modern than the M1 carbine, and if Will was to make a paratrooper version it would have barely any resemblance to the M21.

Me too but only in black, unless I start doing non sci-fi stuff, either way i bet this gun would be a wonderful addition to the BA lineup.

I don't know. Since it's brown I think it would make sense to be in brown, but I think it might look weird in brown.

The RoA has a sick mod of a carbine, and an M1A1 in the gallery.

Ok, first of all, an M21 without a scope would be an M14 asssult rifle, which in turn is an M1 Garand with box magazine and burst-fire capability. And if the only noticable difference between an M2 and an M1 carbine at minifigure scale is the length of the mag, why not make the M2 and then anyone who wants an M1 can trim down the mag. An M1A1 could come out later. Also, the M8 gernade launcher was attached to the muzzle, not slung under the barrel. (read the caption of the photo)

I think it looks nothing like a BAR. The BAR mag is to wide and the BAr is longer. The BAR also has a long barrel with a wodden grip under it.

Ok you do have some good points about the m2 vs. m1 carbine but then if Will choose to make an m1 carbine then couldn't one remove the mag somehow and add an ak47 mag which sort of replicates the banana clip used for the m2 carbine. Also with alot of will's newer pieces featuring removable magazines who's to say Will couldn't make a regular and a "banana" clip for it.

True. I wasn't thinking of the PPsh when I posted. I think I'd like it even more with a removable clip.

The Paratrooper version could be a nice stand-in for a G3, too!
