Nice! I plan on ordering some of these and making some "Tommy" minifigures, as I didn't make Brickfair, or whatever convention the "Tommies" were at. This could also be used for WWI and early WWII american minifigs, if Will were to produce a green one, as well!

I even have some trans-clear Brodies in my prototypes bin. Unfortunately, my prototype mold is made from a soft aluminum (machines easily, but isn't terribly durable), and the mold is beginning to show some wear. I'm not sure I will be injecting many more Brodies from it.

And what's this about an ENTIRE BIN OF PROTOTYPES?!? *almost faints in chair* Will wrote:Unfortunately, my prototype mold is made from a soft aluminum (machines easily, but isn't terribly durable), and the mold is beginning to show some wear. Cp. Hawkins wrote:When will it come out? 2009 or 2010? Or doesnt will even mass produce them?? :) No, Will does not currently mass produce the Brodie Helmet. The issue is that headgear requires special molds (called core-cavity molds) to be produced, and that type of molding is more costly and requires more development then the standard molds Will uses to produce BrickArms accessories. That said, Will does plan to mass produce the Brodie Helmet (along with a few other types of headgear and in a variety of colors!) some time in the future. When this will occur is hard to say, but rest assured, it will happen!
