I'd like to throw my support in for this weapon. I grew up watching John Wayne movies-heck, I still watch them. I love these rifles; they have such a classic feel to them. But is the issue regarding the way a figure can hold it finished? It would seem, considering it is a lever-action rifle, that placing a monopod on the weapon takes away it's distinct look and feel. But again, I just want to comment on how awesome this would be as a BA. Peace is a lie-Sith Code Dissapointment

I'd be interested to see how Will tackles the grip on this one, if ever produced.

I find it ironic that the pictures that Badger posted are not of the 1873, but rather of the 1892.
But To my point, I think I have thought of a way to make the gun holdable at the shoulder. Would it be breaking the rules if I described my idea?

On the minifig scale, all of the common models of Winchester lever-action rifle would be pretty much identical. I picked those images as they were just fun reminders of the cultural importance (especially in film!) of the Winchester in American history. Please don't post any design ideas or concepts on this board. Suggesting an item is fine, and you can trust should Will decide to pursue it, it would be up the same high quality and eye for detail and playability that all other BrickArms accessories feature.

I totally support this, as I was just going to propose it myself. I would love to see the Winchester, and it is hard to argue over which model, because all, with the exception of the Model 1895, are essentially the same. This would be great to go along with the C96 and the revolver. And as there are not that many old time guns, I think this would make a great addition to the line-up.

I fully support the creation of a Winchester-type rifle. The possibilities are almost endless for such a weapon. As for the posing however, a brown monopod placed either before the trigger guard or back on the stock should do the trick. I do not think however that the ability to place a monopod on the weapon should hinder it from at least seeing a prototype phase.
