If you read this thread, you'll see that several times both Will and myself make it clear this item will be mass produced and soon. Bear in mind that mass producing custom ABS accessories, especially those of the high-quality and fine detail of BrickArms, takes a good deal of time and resources. Will just updated the site with many different great items in a variety colors and has been extremely busy ever since (and for several months before!) making sure BA customers get their orders promptly and everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.

Sit tight, and keep in mind that Will's always working hard on bringing great new accessories (and other fun surprises) to BrickArms fans.

Yes, this piece is coming along with some other great items. After all, you saw the first Energy Pistol from BrickArms, and we continue to blaze new trails. :)

Ah, no worries then. Still, it's best to be a bit more clear in your language when posting, just to prevent misunderstanding.

This is certainly one of the most anticipated items Will has in the pipeline; as for folks not posting here for a bit, I think it's more a function of the latest wave of neat prototypes to come out of Brickfest not to mention the huge response to the First Wave 2009 accessories.

Quite true badger, quite true. for all these prototypes that are coming out are brilliant! But back on topic, I can't wait to see this come out, to add to the arsenal of brickarms Sci-Fi weapons.

Big booms are fun :D

When you say mass produced, do you mean that it wont just be able to be bought for insane amounts of money on ToyWiz? I thought and I quote " the prices reflect the amount of time it takes to produces these unique pieces ". I mean, I would LOVE one of these Plasma pistols but if Will is going to sell them for the same price here I might just have to wait till I hit the lottery! :)

Yes. Bear in mind, the Toywiz accessories are hand-injected, multi-color items created via overmolding. It's a labor-intensive process to create them, and the price of those items reflect this.

Once they're added to a production mold, Will can produce many, many single colored accessories and offer them on the BrickArms site at a price that's comparable to other BrickArms accessories.

Hope that explains things a bit better!

I'm not a Halo fan, but I absolutely LOVE this weapon. Since it's a tad oversized, I could used it as the main weapon for my troops. Fantastic!

Not a big fan of Halo, and unfortunately not a big fan of this gun. I am more interested in The Needler :)

You know, in retrospect, I noticed that the gun also looks extremely close to the Gallant H90 from Robotech New Generation, during the invid invasion. With a little modification, one could easily replicate the pistol, rifle and sniper rifle versions of this weapon.

Yeah, it's a really, really old series. Really good too, in my opinion. It had a lot of fascinating weapons.
