I'm thinking of a scene for a Stop Motion... Brick Man walks into his house.. his wife yells at him for making a mess and not picking it up before he left, he freaks out, then she phasers him. Honestly a fantastic piece, I totally want to get one of each color, it would make a great piece to hang in a wall in a house, for a character to be a trekkie fan :)

@marineraider I don't believe that anywhere on the forums has it ever been said that this is a "Star Trek" item. That being said this would be a great weapon for any space explorers who boldly go where no man has gone before. ;>)

MOD - Regardless what may or may not have inspired a particular BrickArm accessory, every builder should use them in whatever build they like! With the combat, scifi-vibe of this item, no doubt it'll be useful for any number of figs!
Let's focus on the item itself from here on out

I don't really care what this is based on. (I very much doubt it's Halo though) I like this thing. It'll be a nice sidearm for sci-fi armys, and I really do hope it's available in LOTS of different colors. @Will and mods: Sorry about my first post being off-topic.

soman wrote:I think the phonton pistol is from halo. No... The photon pistol is based off of a Star-Trek weapon. There are differences from the Photon Pistol and the "Phaser". This just ruined my whole plans for being able to go to Brickworld and get some prototypes. And, our family doesn't have the money OR time to go to Seattle. You know, the photon pistol reminds me of a sci fi welder I saw long ago, in one of the older movies (don't remember which). The welder they used in fixing random panels looked like this. "Set phasers to stun!" Like many others, I'm sure, after seeing Star Trek I now want to buy this.

I'll likely be giving these to unlucky Imperial Guard officers, where they will count as plasma pistols(which have a tendency to explode). If one uses this in a modern vig, it could be anything from a child(or college student's) water pistol, to a prop for someone's Starfleet costume at a convention(note to self: make a lego convention centre with some sort of neckbeardery going down).

I'll have to give Scotty one of these, and also, with a little modding, this looks like it could be a Taser!
