I saw the new MG42 drum proof-of-concept, but it just doesn't cut the mustard for this acessory. "Mission report: Michael invaded Atlantis, tried to blow it up, we stopped him. What MG42 ammo drum? I'd love a ammo box for the Combat LMG, because I agree with Chandler on this, it's just not complete by itself.

I thought that this needed some more speculation, becasue no one's posted on ti in a while, so this post will get it started. Do people thinnk that it should be an underslung, box-like design, or a side-mounted drum-like design? I prefer the undersling, trapezoidal box, because I love the M249 SAW. The MGL drum works for the side-mounted type, so it would only make sense for the box-type to be made, if an accessory like this is made at all. From previous comments in this thread, however, it seems that most people so far (like myself) prefer an underslung design: Enlist in Alpha Company today! Perhaps the magazine could be made somewhat like the PPsH drum and clip on under the LMG.
Does it ever seem that the intelligent parts of posts are the parts ignored?

If and when Will ever revisits the idea of an ammo box for the BrickArms LMG, rest assured as soon as it's publicly unveiled, you'll read about it on this board!
